How to remove Imac stand?(2013 slim model)

Hi Guys, I was thinking of mounting my Imac on the wall and bought a VESA adaptor from Apple store. It was than I realised the stand of the current Imac models cannot be removed easily like the older models(the older model's stand can be removed by sloting a card at where the stand connect to Imac).

I tried calling Apple and they divert me to eserve who quoted me $120 to eplace the adaptor for me! Any bros here who know who to do it or know any cheaper contacts that can replace the stand at a lower cost?

21.5 or 27 inch?

Because at this link they say, 21.5 cannot, 27 can. But they don't say how.

Edit: Did further checks. Seems like cannot remove stand for both 21.5 and 27. The only option for VESA mount was to ask for that when ordering. Apple is getting tighter and tighter with selling their products as appliances which they design and the consumer just uses as designed.

the back casing for these 2 stand are different.

u need to order from the start if u need wall mount.. u cant replace that way
