eh, how to store the boots if 1 year only use 1 time for ict

my gortex quite new used for 1 week last year nia, this year ict use again the bottom of the boots came off (heart pain siol cos now emart nv sell gortex boots liao )

how to protect it if not using

e3very month take out, wear and walk around.... then kiwi to condition the leather.....

heres the best method for storing boots... simple 2 step method

step 1 - take off boots
step 2 - put boots on shoe rack/in box

your done!

No special way to store boot.

I kept mine in storeroom and take out once a year.

For the bottom of the foot to drop off...there are some defective batch because my ict last year they allow FREE 1:1 exchange for those that the "mouth" open. Then all those who went to exchange really is the boot open until very jialat including mine.

actually if your ict is once a year, then still able to store. If like after 2 years then first ICT like my brother, dont bother keeping the boots. get a new pair.

Try to keep it try and kiwi-ed when storing it.

A good way is to hide it away from heat and sunlight while adding some desiccant into the storage box.

This method can prolong the life span of the boots..

every year b4 ICT, kiwi it use for ICT, after ICT kiwi it, throw back into the duffel bag.......repeat this for 10 years......

btw I still using my pair of boots issue during BMT in jan 2001...

next month is my last ICT.....

hear from some people is to wear it often, if not try to find those silica gel that will absorb moist

nowadays the gortex quite chi, but my unit reflected about the issue liao and they say their looking to rectify the problems.... dont know how true though!

when i went emart last ict, the auntie say batch no. with 2008 can 1-1 exchange for free for the new frontier boots

but my 1 is gortex bought when i ord in 2008 not eligible

you want more durable boots can, but it will be harder to break in aka season.

that is what my active CO said when he came down to ssrr during ICT, now he dua kee COL

My boots chui liao after storing for 6 years. Ll had to buy the frontier boots. It should be quite durable since the arch part of the boot is stitched.
