Anyone using moomoo buy SGX stock then later the stock got rights exercise how do moomoo handle since now new model shares are with them and not inside CDP?

Last time we buy from broker the shares go inside CDP so from there they know to allocate how many rights share send document to us and we go bank ATM to apply. Now with moomoo is it same workflow?

Moomoo CS get back to me already basically from their app you cannot subscribe for rights. This make it very troublesome as shares buy from moomoo is with them not inside CDP. Pay cheap fees kena this troublesome step still worth it? SGX REIT stock usually will have rights issue exercise and if it happen and I buy from moomoo my subscription process super troublesome.

"Clients will be informed by email and may reply the email with the instruction.
The feature is not available in moomoo mobile App at the moment."

I think to some people is how often there is such corporate action. So the fee is more important

I nowadays only buy SGX REIT stock so for REIT quite often they will have rights issue as they need raise capital to acquire new assets. So if this happen often and I buy via moomoo where shares are deposited with them not inside CDP then when the rights happen the process to go about subscribing become an issue for me. If I don't have the process and miss out my shares get diluted.

Of cuz for non-REIT stock rights issue will not happen so often as it cost monies to conduct a rights exercise.

The fee (25+) for old brokers are there for some reason but still 25+ vs 2-3 is a big gap so I wanted to try moomoo tiger to cut down fees then come upon this rights subscription process concern.

$10 cash upfront noted. Can I check they are old model i.e shares bought will appear inside CDP?

Found standard chartered 0.20% minimum $10. So anyone with it can check they are old model i.e shares bought will appear inside CDP?

If you purchase via DBS Vickers into CDP , can link them to tiger or moomoo ? Or I can only sell them off Vickers?

Tiger moomoo I am not so sure since their shares not in CDP. For FSM I confirm can as I just did Monday. In the Sell screen there is an option called Sell From CDP, if you select this means you are using FSM to sell the shares that resides in CDP. Make sure the shares number tally with CDP as FSM cannot check for you so if you short sell you pay penalties!!! If you use choose the normal Sell means selling shares that is under FSM holdings this they can check at point of sell you enter. Make sure select the correct option when selling.

So alot of ppl say if you got shares bought many years ago using old brokers where shares are deposited inside CDP, use FSM to help you sell as their brokerage is 8.80 (exclude GST) compare to old broker at 25++.
