Looks like Audio phone (see the brand on the speaker) :D:D:D

most important now, is to wait for official specs - whether got DAC & AMP

so far there is NO HIGH END AUDIO phone for WP, so this maybe the next frontier market for phones ... now that LG V10 has made it mainstream (aka other than HTC)

Looks very nice and could be the true successor to the 1520 but I have bad impressions of HP in terms of their products and support. Also u see the lack of support in terms of a software for OEMs (HTC 8x) will make me think twice :p

After the announcement in MWC, I predict that the complete package for this phone would cost around 100 thousand dollars. Haha.

But seriously, I expect this thing to be expensive.

Although I am curious if there is more to Continuum than what we know. I mean HP basically produced an all out package, just to run Universal Windows Apps? Hmmm... Could there be a promise from MS that soon Continuum would be able to run normal desktop as well?

This should be certainly pricey, at least in the range of 1500$. Think of the KB + Display + Dock. On the other side, thinking that the executives in a company are only given the phone + their desks equipped with the KB + Display + Dock - that's very exciting :)

I think the interesting part is the phone can run desktop class software of some sort via the cloud.

Theoretically they could emulate Android on a server and have our Windows device access them as well. Project Astoria v2?

hahah so far they have only said that i will be cheaper than buying a new phone, new desktop and new laptop combined.

i think by then (August) the surface phone will be on the horizon already

There's an HWZ article about this (look at the top of the page)...

Does this mean it is coming here in SG? Anyone has background info?

Given the mess that is hp, believe it only when you see it. Besides, you can't be too sure of product support.
