HP Laptop Screen Freeze

Hi all,

I recently got a new laptop for work. However, the issue with it is that the screen always freezes after sometime whenever I extend the display to an external monitor. Is it a hardware issue with the laptop or the external monitor?

Check if there are updated drivers for the graphics card.

Also worth to check if the cable connecting the laptop to the monitor could be the issue (other cables to try?)
