HP Notebook Reformat

Hi, I have had the HP Notebook for about 5 years and performance is getting slower. I would like to reformat the notebook but I have no idea how to do it. Any suggestions? How much will it cost if I bring it to the shop to do it for me? Or any recommendations?

You can do it yourself.
Very simple.
Before proceed, do backup your data to external hdd.
Also perform a chkdsk.

But add up together u might be paying $80 or more estimated.

Service Charge = 20-35
Reformate = 40 -60
Check hardware = 20 30
