I have ordered another 2 units from Barnes & Noble got the below error. But I also got a SMS from citibank saying that full amount has been charged ??? now i am confused, does the order got thru or not.


"Unable to process order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S."

Noob question here. Since this is a wifi only device, possible for it to get connection from iphone via personal hot spot?
I ordered one this morning via amazon at $99 but cancelled it last min cos i was not sure of the above.

Argh! Unable to process! But payment already went through! Is it cos it's still early in the morning over there? Gonna call them later if can't gotta request for refund

Bro do let us know whats their reply, having the same problem as yours.

Hi, I managed to order 3 from B&N.

I think you can't specify your address as a PO Box because it states on the product page that it doesn't ship to them.

This is the confirmation I got in my email: "Your order is much appreciated. As soon as your order is scheduled to ship or ready to download, we'll let you know with a second email. So be on the lookout for it."

I also noticed this in the customer feedback: "I don't know why, but I am looking at 'MY ACCOUNT' screen and says
Unable to process order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S.
I ordered 2. You will not see this message if you ordered as a guest. Funny thing is they all ready debited the money from my account."

they didn't specify if they will ship it out, just merely acknoledging it i suppose.

Argh! anyone manage to get their order through without the error?

Hi everyone, i'm pretty sian after getting the error so i did a little sleuthing on google and got the following helpful links:

I also found someone had the same error on this forum while trying to order a nook. You can read more about it here:

Apparently to correct the error they emailed B&N and the status was updated correctly the next day. I'm going to drop them an email now and see how it goes. Update you guys when I get a reply! :)
