Got problem booting back to WebOS sia :s13:

When choose reboot > reboot WebOS it just gives you black screen. Anyway, think there should be solution for this.

Don't know about comgateway. In ebay for 32gb most are transacted around s$400+ with shipping.
Do a search in it garage sales search term 'Hp touchpad'.

Don't forget, you still must add in the extra cost of 7% GST. Sure kenna whack by customs. To be safe, can consider Amazon stores. Some stores have the feature that the stock is with Amazon and is delivered by Amazon themselves. So very safe.

However, given the upcoming tablets are all dropping in price, especially the Lenovo etc, total cost plus GST and Freight into Singapore is almost reaching $450++. Seriously must think two or three times. Not really worth it unless you can buy the touchpad at USD$99. That is my personal opinion.

By the time you can port Android (Stable Release) into the touchpad may take two or more weeks. Come Christmas, sure got tablets on sale in US. If can buy below SGD$300 (All In) then can consider good buy if not most tablets would function properly out of the box paying about $500. Wait another 2 months, touchpad specifications would probably become obsolete given the number of tablets coming out.

Unless can buy directly from Singapore at $400 or so with local warranty, else must consider.

You have a point on GST. GST is exempted on goods of $400 or less.

Agree that the landscape for tablets is fast changing with many models launching or planned along with the price war which has yet to get serious. Those sold in ebay are transacted are too high a price. It is possible to get a local Touchpad set around $300 which is a decent price point for me.

Clearing parcels containing non-dutiable and non-controlled goods of $400 or less in value

Parcels containing non-dutiable and non-controlled goods of a total value not exceeding $400 are granted GST relief. Such parcels are released directly to SP for delivery to the addressees. Please arrange to have the invoice attached to the parcel to facilitate clearance.

Icecream Sandwich is coming... the Android tablet landscape will change even further. If you are in no hurry, you might want to wait a bit more.

To anyone who want to try out the Alpha1 of Android on TouchPad, this is the brief guide to install:
1. Download THE 4 files (the a) CM ROM <<update****cm**.zip>> , b) the recovery <<update***recovery**.zip>> c) the moboot <<moboot***.zip>> d) The ACME installer <<ACMEinstaller.zip>>)
2. Make sure you have Novacom installed. If lazy of typing full patch when issueing Novacom command from command prompt, copy the installed directory (C:\Program File\Palm, Inc) to Windows Environment Variable's path (Goog it if don't know what is this).
3. Create a directory call cminstall at root directory when you plug in your TouchPad USB mode.
4. Copy the ROM file, the recovery file and the moboot file into the TouchPad cminstall directory. Please DO NOT unzip it. *Remember to rename the moboot zip file into update-moboot***.zip.
5. Unzip your ACME installer zip file.
5. Launch your command prompt, direct it to where your unzipped ACME installer is and issue command "novacom boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller" Hit enter.
6. Wait... ... you should see the penguin logo at your tab. Let it fully complete.
7. Enjoy.

To install GAPPS, reboot to recovery and install the downloade GAPPS file for CM.

I think while in Android, this happen pretty frequent. Sleep of death I think that's what they call it.
