yea, i knew from the start its gonna be an admin job. but i see other people get posted to " . . . clerks" mine just state HRI, so i want to find out whats so different?

I didn't even know Kranji camp 3 had something new called HRI but thats still the camp location only. Maybe this is the way they do posting for the new PES Es who don't need go tekong i guess.

yea, cant seem to find any info. i've read other threads where people dread paper work, BUT I EMBRACE THEM!

hmm initially i thought you meant (Singapore) Human Resource Institute. haha. thats something totally different which isnt related to saf/army at all.

Sometimes i wonder what exactly classifies a person as PES E. i have one uni fren join sports camp,sports club, rock climbing and everything but i see his army photo he only wear no. 3 + its a aircon office environment. hmm. oh and he's confirm not admin/ops officer cos his sleeve has a big umbrella at the side

maybe he clerk due to psychological reasons? last time my place there got heard of a combat medic during live range too nervous and started pointing the loaded rifle to the sides and the back. in the end posted out to other place do admin work.

also got hear before cases where someone got a very small hole inside his ear so cannot be exposed to loud noises.

Though it seems the No.3 uniform is mostly used by admin NSF PES E personnel, it's quite possible for anyone to use it.

I've seen some combat specs who ended up getting a No.3 set because they were sent to do unrelated work (Ahem...sai kang...). I've also seen a storeman who would siam store work during duty days by wearing No.3.

So long as the superior is fine with it, there isn't really a special requirement to be PES E for NSFs to wear the No.3 uniform.

Oh, Btw, I've also heard some intel units are No.3 all the way because they simply will not go outfield.

u definitely wont find any info as u are the 1st batch of ppl to take the new 1mth bmt in KC3

anyway, i dun think it will be siong.. and u will get ur posting to whatever unit and whatever vocation u shd be at at the end..

Hello, I'm posted to Kranji Camp 3 HRI too on the same day reporting @10am. I read the booklet and it says that PES E peeps is 5.5 days modified BMT only but why is ours 4 weeks?
