Likely due to the late launch. Anyone still waiting for the telco launch or those that couldn't or didn't plan to and got from Lazada are dead set on getting the device.

I'm sure the HTC support base is not small, looking at the frustration here & on FB. How small the market is to the telcos resulting them not too keen? I don't know. BUT I have a feeling that there's some internal behind-the-scene persuasion from big Android phone companies to kill HTC & other brands, and HTC is not doing itself favours by its hopeless efforts, leaving the fan base to fend for themselves & help the brand. Honestly, the fans should just take over the distributorship here :D

For me, forced to flip after efforts contacting HTC officials (both CEO & local reps) did not result in telco involvement, although we had a mini victory of getting FB active again LOL. Was a fun but frustrating ride since May/June, that's when I could recontract. Months wasted. Got the phone nonetheless :)

After all that waiting.. at least the phone doesn't disappoint (you).. :s12:

Is it confirmed that the telcos here will not carry HTC 10?

people must really love their phone, havent seen any local used sets for sale yet.

Yup of course. I got mine (Carbon Grey) right after global launch some time end May for a premium price of $930 (TW set without warranty) from Mobyshop and have not regretted it.

No problems whatsoever with it so far and 4/12 months of TW warranty have gone by.

Such a beautiful (subjective to preference) and well-built phone. It's not the best for anything; battery, camera, screen, speakers, fingerprint sensor etc but it's at least among top 5 for any hardware and/or software feature.

Standouts includes Sense 7.0 and HTC's close to stock Android Marshmallow and the removal of duplicate apps.

Battery life is middle of the pack but Quick Charge 3.0 with USB Type C really helps juice up very quickly.

Phone gets hot while using and charging at the same time but only get warm with either but heat dissipates very quickly due to metal body (without case).

No complains, best phone I have used (that is without IP68). If not for the exploding battery/hardware problems, I would think the Samsung Note 7 is better.

Those more indifferent between it and other flagships were weeded out waaaaaaaaaaay back; those less indifferent but not dead set were lost too unfortunately.

Side note: Anyone reading this who has contacted HTC officials in the past, mind sharing with me so I can try following up? A bit hard to go through all the old pages to find :s22:.

Hi. Nothing much other than saying that SingTel has chosen the date 10th September to launch the phone. No news for Starhub and M1 as well as other retailers i.e. MobyShop. Press announcement will be within this week. That's all!

The Neo Hybrid Crystal is exactly the same as Neo Hybrid, the only difference is, as the crystal implied, it is crystal clear. :)

From this YT review:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFT9rXKqUh0

The Rugged Armour doesn't have the bumper, I believe the single piece should be thinner on the sides than the 2 pieces design. I don't mind the thickness but the width and length the bumper added to the case.

The Spigen Neo Hyrid/Crystal is their top end model, nearly 2x the price of thin fit. yet the qoo10 shop is selling them at about the same price, that's why I hesitated to buy. btw, I bought the Neo Hybrid from that seller too. :D
Thanks for the clarification. Seems that the Official SG site does not sell either. I look forward to your Rugged Armour review. :s12:

seriously with the samsung note 7 saga, HTC should not have delayed the sales of HTC 10.

Missed opportunity.

to Miss Cher Wang,

If you are reading this thread, quickly launch the HTC 10 in Singapore.

This is an good opportunity, because Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sales has halt.
