with sim only plans from various telco, i think purchasing non-contractual mobiles makes more sense.

Have you considered the Sony Xperia Z series?

Sent from my Rice phone using GAGT
have not tried the sony yet. will check it out.

yeah non contract seems more of viable option now, still gonna wait till my contract ends to see if they bring it in. hoping they might bring it.
im currently using the desire eye and the new upgrades in 10 are what they needed. not the best but they do it for me.

Its receiving rave reviews. Hopefully Singaporeans will stop being so blinded by the 2 so mainstream brands and give HTC its much needed chance.
The 10 is the One.. (pun intended)

Its time to return to HTC after Note 5... Sick and tired of waiting half a year for Android updates to Samsung products. HTC has so much better after sales support. Samsung doesn't give 2 **** about you after you buy their products.
Hopefully it arrives on our sunny little island soon!

Hope so..... I just miss HTC Sense after M7.... Seriously hope M10 is going to be here in SG, regardless of retails or Telco.

If i got CIS 30% discount, Sim only plan is not making a lot of sense. Need to pay that caller id of $5 too. Sim only plan is only cheaper if buying sub $450 phones. Top end models is not worth it. Of course you get freedom, but unlikely changing phone every year, esp after spending that much on a top model.

Sony Z is good, but price and its thick bezels are not the best deal.

HTC is really quite lazy with their marketing effort,

They using the same hand taking photo template for so many posts.
Even their marketing is half-f already, don't expect much from them hahahah

I truly agree. HTC products are not bad. Just that they are not that strong in marketing and after sales service.
I had been to their customers service centre. If i am not wrong, HTC had out source the distribution and after sales service to a local company.
It not like Samsung where they r doing their direct marketing and after sale service.
I guess SG is not a significant market to HTC.

samsung, apple, huawei, xiaomi, lg.... where is HTC? perhaps behind ZTE sales?
i guess its company size will eventually force it to prostitute itself for food.
