Before it comes, it is bound to go through IDA. I've been keeping a checking the website database and so far nothing yet. So if it comes, it probably won't be in the next few weeks I think.

But then again we see phones that go through the database but never made it to shelves too. Hahaha. Taking the wait and see approach first.

Compare to this year flagship, it's one of my favourite. But i've only used the flagship from the main manufacturers though. So G5, S7 Edge, and HTC 10. I think it's a good alternative for the S7 Edge for those who don't want a Samsung phone, or those who like the design. It has things that it doesn't do as well as the S7 Edge, but there isn't any huge deal breakers... well, other than having no warranty here and the price.

LG G5 isn't worth comparing imo... If you want add comparison from Chinese flagships like the Mi 5/Pro, can wait for Gary bro to reply. haha.

When I used htc m8 I never felt such thing. Same with MI note and now also mi5...

So..... since our own people from HTC sg are not responding, i had to look for other country's support to talk to, and I dont know if it's credible or not, but they said that HTC 10 will be shipping to SG..

checked with HTC USA again, now they claim that they have no information regarding the availability of HTC 10 in Singapore, and said "as you can imagine, we cannot set speculations since we don't have this accurate information."

My experience using both S7e n HTC10

S7e positives : generally cooler while in use by 2-3 degree C. The HTC 10 warms up very fast. Better battery life n even though capacity is only 20% bigger prorated the battery life is 40-50% better. Camera I rate it slightly better too

HTC 10 : positives - external phone speakers

Performance : both generally similar but file access is slight faster on S7e
UI : I don't like both and use Nova instead
Feel in hand : HTC 10
Design : subjective.

G5 is out of my top 5 fave phone this year. Xiaomi is getting stronger with mi5 and mi max. Both power beast.

If you give me s7/edge or HTC 10. I'll take s7 anytime of it camera, screen and battery.
Audio person probably go with HTC 10. That's my take.

haha. i bought from mobyshop ya, i'm not a retailer.

I've been using the S7E since launch and so far i've been happy with the performance. But in terms of UI, HTC 10 feels smoother still. The S7E ocassionally will stutter a bit, then have to reboot.

S7 Edge has
- Better screen (can go brighter outdoors, and can go dimmer at night indoors)
- Better camera, gaming performance a tiny bit better (can see things load faster)
- Battery life (but for S7 probably similar)
- IP68 (normally when rain have to hide phone, but with S7E i just use only)

But in the it's not as if the HTC 10 is bad all all the things above. It's still good, but just not as good as what samsung has. But HTC 10 has nicer sounding speakers, much better build and design imo, faster fingerprint sensor, and nicer UI.

Interesting that noone mentioned one + point for HTC that their android update support is certainly better than song. Guess not many care about updates.

There is a design flaw in these cases: the top has 2 large openings for an IR sensor that does not exist. See the pictures...
Amazon was clearing these at ~5 USD few weeks ago.

My wife is using the S7e, I have been getting complaints from her the past few days, phone stutters then reboots. No new apps installed since I got the phone for her about 1 month back. Hope the recent update will solve this problem.
