hi manutdonline,

Taiwan Export set

- no local warranty

- main language will be traditional chinese

- texting in chinese, will also be traditional chinese

- they flashed their own apps into the phone ( just like our 3 telcos )

the rest i don't know

However, once local set available locally, you can send it to service centre, have it flash to singapore firmware, pay a bit of money.

Still no local warranty, bcos it's originally Taiwan set
Huh? My Taiwan export set when set in English is no different from a local set.

Redwhite selling export set, no warranty. Should I 420blazeit?

I 420blazedit in May. Decided it was not worth to wait and wait for months(when I made my decision HTC didn't even announce a date). If got problem just send back to TW, or just find a local shop to fix.

Thank you for your mail. We really appreciate your passion and support to HTC brand, thank you. We are working to bring HTC 10 to Singapore by August with all the operator partners.

Warm regads,
Faisal

Anyone guessing that it is because of the three telcos for the delay?

@foosoomin I guess I have to play the tahan game.

Yes, the 3 telcos don't wanna sell HTC phones anymore, as there's little demand, brand expensive, very few sales, HTC losing money.

I would say, inside got people wanna destroy the company.

There is spy in the company
Yes, I believe this is very true.
I strongly believe Samsung spy is inside this company and trying to destroy it.
Remember Samsung once paid numerous online reviewers to talk negatively on HTC's products?

Why bother to bring down a struggling company like HTC? HTC isn't really a threat at all. It's not like upcoming Huawei.

To businessman, any competitors is a threat.

Last time Samsung was behind HTC, now Samsung is ahead.

Samsung phone is still not as good as HTC, everybody wants to destroy anyone, who wanna suppress them

I owned a A9 from Taiwan. So here's my take, it should be the same case for HTC 10.

- Ok let's not jinxing it by saying it will stop working within one year. Phone are normally in good condition for 1st entire year.
- You are able to choose English during set up and you can't even tell it's from Taiwan (other than when it boot up but it's barely 3 seconds of chinese words)
- Traditional/Simplified chinese are always there for you to choose
- Nope, no unwanted app at all, since if you bought it from HTC store there's no telecom attached to it.

durianpancakes, lets us play the tahan game together. :p Mine HTC One Max already die on me since last Dec anyway. Had bought a Mi 4i as my standby cum travel phone, so no problem waiting. Well, ultimately whether I will still go for it will depends on how good is the Samsung Note 7 as compare with the HTC 10 and whether it has the power to attract me over.

Definitely worthwhile the wait...go for it ! No regrets buying TW set for me.
My MAX still surviving...though batt not as tahan nowadays....for backup use.

But if the telcom are not carrying it. Note 7 (or 6) would be cheaper for those who can actually recontract. HTC is digging their grave one gen at a time

I don't own a QC charger, but all charger I have are pretty much the standard 5V/2.4A for Android devices. There's only 2100mAh~, isn't much to charge too. Xiaomi Powerbank can do more 2A (or above) too.
