Not too sure about the Lifestyle for now, but it seems increasingly likely that the SD820 variant might only be available in retailers and not telcos. The "insider news" did tell me that telcos might not be bringing it in, and there's also a chance that the SD820 HTC 10 might not be available in SG at all.

I will also skip if there is no SD820 HTC 10 variant.

Let's wait for the official news first!

As usual, won't be surprised if we get treated like dirt. HTC totally has no emphasis on SG market. Moved away from m9 even though the design was still the best for me. Companies that don't value their customers can close shop. HTC will probably spend more to market vive than their phones from now on.

That's mainly because the demand for HTC device in sg is very low. Competitors like xiaomi, oppo are pushing out cheaper midrange device. So maybe Htc want to capture that market instead. But i don't see any good in that as Singaporean either go for value or highest spec. Moreover, thats always markup of the price when release in sg, midrange product selling at high end price.

I don't think it's a good idea to bring in only the Lifestyle version. The midrange market is already so crowded and HTC's higher prices will not fly with the more budget conscious buyers.

For true high end, at least there's only the iPhone, S7, G5 to compete with.

somehow I'm "fat hoping" that only lifestyle will be launched , allowing the sd820 version to be launched locally, as the next nexus, with warranty.

like finally lol

Considering this to replace my Nexus 6P. I took a chance on a phablet and it's not working out for me due to the physical size of the phone.
