Motorola was ultimately a big mistake for Google.
By buying any OEM, they will definitely kinda show favoritism to them.
Hence they sold it off again.
I highly doubt El Goog will be looking to purchase anymore OEMs and not piss off Samsung and LG.

I thought I read somewhere that they bought Motorola because they want their patents.

Seem like HTC is dead in Singapore, they have give up their flagship launch in Singapore as no idea whether HTC 10 officially launching or not. Frankly speaking, the smartphone market in Singapore is abit unquie and most of us either have Galaxy flagship or iPhone. HTC have give up on Singapore market as they know they cannot even win this fight as they fall behind too long in our country. #fact

Read that too.
The patents iirc were valuable and helped fend all other oems from patent disputes with Apple.

They are shunning Singapore like what Microsoft did with their new 950 line up. Surprisingly it is available in Malaysia and not Singapore.

i wonder if the silver on sgbest is the US version silver

SgBest price haven't include GST. If include, will be $1k+. So far cheapest is still MobyShop. But of course, SgBest provides 1 year personal warranty.

So need to see which one you are comfortable.

I just got the carbon grey from sgbest today. The 1 year warranty just means they will send it back to HTC HK (yes the sets are from HK) for you, which is convenient and hassle-free but ultimately you can do it yourself.

The silver with black front is only available in the US. Moby (TW) and SGBest (HK) are silver with white front.
