If you have not, you should start blogging about your phones. Something along the lines of "Toms Hardware Page".

E.g. "Gary's Mobile Page", "Gary Tech", "Mobile Goondu", "Gary Mobile Zone" ... :s13:

+1 on this!

Wondering if anyone here have an US unlocked set, are you able to get 4G+ signal on your phone?

I'm only getting 4G on Singtel, not sure if it's due to band 8

Dear (me),

Thank you for your kind mail to Ms Wang.

We sincerely appreciate your support to HTC and want to assure you that we will be launching HTC 10 in Singapore soon. We are working on our execution plan and will be announcing plans soon.

Did you do a speedtest? what type of speeds are you getting.

4G+ uses carrier aggregation (CA), meaning using 2 bands at the same time to boost speeds in simple terms. Meaning for the phone to support 4G+ in SG speeds the phone needs to be able to combine band 3 and 7, or 3 and 8, for example. The phone supporting band 3 and band 7 individually isn't enough to get 4G+.

While HTC doesn't list the CA bands support like Google does on their Nexus phones, US set normally have a different set of CA bands support.

I am able to get 4G+ for Starhub on my TW set

Is adoptable storage working on the 10? Anyone tried? After that take out sdcard what will happen?

Sent from S7 Edge using GAGT

Yea it can be used. Shame that Samsung and LG are not offering that.

If you take it out after it is used as the adopted storage, it is like taking out your internal hard drive half way using a computer. Apps crash and you will lose some data.

I'm getting ~65Mbps in CBD area, it's not shabby in any case, I have no complains. Thanks for the info on CA bands :D

I will say no if you are used to amoled screen and Touchwiz features including the back button on right side. Finding phone accessories for HTC 10 can be a challenge.

Sent from my mobile using GAGT

Totally agree, samsung's memory management is horrible

definitely.. Im still holding onto my S6 right now.. Can't wait for the 10 to arrive..
useless touchwiz and horrible usage of RAMs.

:s13: Think it's okay. I jumped many ships till last year when I stopped completely and went on a 1 year + ownership of the Galaxy S6 (from launch) - cause there were no phones that enticed me much and I didn't want to get a SD810 based phone.

Don't really use Touchwiz features! - but have to say that Touchwiz has improved quite abit from last time.

Thanks for the opinions guys!
