Bro moonblood think most likely u can replace the faulty charger but you will need htc sg to start selling. At least your phone was still fine my set die after three days zzz. But what I enquire from htc Taiwan charger, wire, battery are covered. So should not be any worries guess u can just use a replacement charger for now

My Wall Adapter for HTC 10 died on me last night.
Only 9 days after getting it.

Don't feel too bad: there's a thread on XDA with extensive voltage/current analysis that showed similar charging performance with QC2 and QC3 on the 10, so u won't be losing out even in the worst case where u can't get the QC3 charger.

Personally, I don't like how uncomfortably hot the 10 gets on the QC3 original charger, so I use my Samsung 5V 1A charger for daily charging instead. The QC3 charger is reserved for urgent use only.

Moonblood,

Good, Joyce responded. Wait for call centre phone call

Call centre called me, said can't replace for me because HTC 10 is not selling in SG yet.
I asked them if I can purchase this TC P5000-UK then, they said they have no stocks for this model yet.

He then called me again 20min later to ask for my phone IMEI, I asked him why and he said for record purposes.
I replied "Why should I since you're not replacing my wall adapter".

Dun think will be able to change even if SG is selling HTC 10.
They probably want your IMEI for record.

In fact, not just HTC 10.
Previous HTC One models are hot while charging as well.

HTC call centre wants your phone IMEI just for record ?

Wrong strategy. It's like wanna interfere in everything

Agree, I asked why and said I didn't wanna bother giving them because they didn't bother to replace to wall adapter.

You can immediately compose an email to HTC south asia President, then CC a copy to Joyce Lee, telling them about call centre matter.

Also for your info, call centre sometimes may not be able to help you much. HTC Singapore playing "taiji" game again.

Anyway, see below quote, posted by a guy earlier. He mentioned enjoy HTC phones while it last.

This is key sentence

Enjoy HTC phones while they last. Once HTC's VR headset business takes off, I'm certain they'll eventually exit the cellphone market. Thin margins, intense competition, China clones. And they can never make inroads into the market leaders' share. Just not worth the investment anymore. This isn't 2013 anymore.

malaysia 几杀气一下, think their regulation not as strict as Singapore.

If really launch in 2 weeks, then congrats to malaysian buyers :)

Anyone's HTC 10 when booting up, keeps restarting a couple of times.
ie, doesn't get past the white HTC logo on the screen to the green HTC logo, screen turns off then back to white HTC logo again.

My M9 died this way, never managed to get past the white HTC logo screen, only after a year of usage.

Is it common for HTC phones?
Or is it just me being damn unlucky with my HTC 10 and M9?
