M8 running windows, but from what i know, it is not compaitable with sg 4G bands. Is that correct?

It is compatible, I got the ATT version which is GSM. The one that doesn't is the verizon one

doubt it, we only got the last 2 nexii cause Motorola (via brighstar) and Huawei sold them here. Seeing that HTC doesn't even sell their flagship HTC 10 then I doubt they will bring in the nexus either

Maybe they should bring in Nexus phone. The price is usually lower and Google do the marketing (if any). And HTC do not have worry about Android upgrades.

I wouldn't hold my breath if it concerns HTC....they've been quite unreliable.

Bought the HTC 10 via ebay. It is a China set.

Initially, had alot of problem with Google Play Services not running and couldn't use most of the Google apps.

Did a hard reset and install apps again. Same problem.

I think I must have changed the Location Services to high accuracy and after awhile, no problem installing Google Play and all other apps.

Install aida64 app from Google play, run it, check CPU.


If is Snapdragon 820, then is 10.

M8 very good design, support memory card, good android os, good camera as it has the highest 2 um pixel size sensor, can snap better low lighting photo

Lazada got plenty of it, you can get a HTC M7 in different color for less than $200 too. Still a pretty good backup phone with its SD 600.

Boomsound is GOOD!
Camera is good. Haven't tried the 4K video recording.

Can't find Car mode.

Previously using HTC One (M7).
