M8 got the ultrapixel 4mp wrong , M9 got the least improvement & worst camera on flagship. HTC 10 is just everything how M9 should be last year. Took HTC long enough to understand what everyone want - remember more than half dozens of HTC One introduced throughout the year?
Samsung bring back water-resistent + microsd as requested along with its highly praised change-of-design on S6, and S6/S7 camera are just that awesome by itself without extra glimmicks. So yes technically S7 is superior phone now.
Idk why you mentioned Sony because it just going backward ~ They actually removed the water-resist feature
OnePlus 3 is in their own league, and it actually looks like HTC phone now.
Ok lets start with water resistance, would you bring it in the water or use it in the rain while u are soaked? If there's water damage does samsung replace a new one? sony removed their waterproof tag and changed it to water resistant cause they refuse to replace water damaged phones. In any case, it's a win for samsung if you need IP6/7 water resistance as HTC doesnt have it.
As for expandable memory slot, both flagships have it but sure s7 is faster. Another slight win for S7
S7 camera and htc 10 camera are almost on par and i am comparing htc 10 to s7. Let's call it a draw here.
Of course I can say htc has 2 speakers and better bass but that's just nitpicking but if you go and look at flagship phones today, htc 10 will sit at the top with s7 technically speaking. It wont be a bad choice to get either phones as both are one of the best flagship phone u can get as of now.
Of course the htc m9 was rubbish for 2 reasons, rubbish processor and subpar camera but i am talking about the htc 10. iirc the m7 was rubbish cause of camera qc problems creating a purple tint and the one x had overheating problems again due to rubbish proc.
