Beginning to think that might be the best strategy; literally just called one of the telcos and the latest update has been it still being in talks.

Singtel twitter confirmed that it will come end of this month. Just 4 days left I guess.

If not keen on phone, can consider re-contract iPad or Galaxy Tab tablet for personal use. You can also give the tablet to me.

Tired of waiting for telco, bought one from Lazada's "Generation Next Communications Pte Ltd". there are lower price listing by other sellers, eg, "Boom" is $838 but stated as "local seller warranty" vs GNC's "local manufacturer warranty". I supposed the later mean local HTC official warranty?

BTW, listed price is $898, used Lazada's payday(?) "take100" voucher to offset $100.

judging from pass HTC price, I recon even if talco selling, HTC 10 is probably going to be quite close to Note7 price. If I use $50 recon voucher to get note7 at $350 and sell it close to $1K, the most I have to fork out is $200. definitely won't be paying more than telco's listing price.

Still prefer to have official warranty, HTC alu unibody is a PITA to dismantle. I have doubts the 3rd party repairer can put back the phone without seriously compromise the construction of the phone. part of the reason I keep buying HTC is because of the phones "feel" in the hands.

I had RMA my M7 once, due to battery issue. With just a phone call and 2 days alter, HTC SG sent courier to collect phone, a week later, they delivered it back to me. although if I look hard enough, some traces of phone been taken apart is visible, phone still feel as solid as before.

Yup. I really like the texture sides as it provides better grip.

I have the H+ Pro and it also comes with camera lens screen (not tempered glass) protector.

Thanks Mike Lim for the recommendation, I also made an order for the Nillkin nature TPU. For the tempered glass, I'm using the Nillkin tempered glass, it fits well and the HTC 10 is almost perfect with these accessories.

From Nillkin AliExpress official store a week prior. I probably bought the last set.

There are other Aliexpress stores that sells the same thing. Check user feedback and store ratings before buying.

When you boot up the first time, note the default suggested language.
Can also install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andy.simplecidgetter to get the CID value. Google for the region.

UPDATE - Can't wait anymore. In Starhub Vivo. They can't tell me if HTC10 will be out. Told the counter Singtel will launch end Aug. Will get Note 7 and sell off. Hello Lazada!!

Hahah I asked on their community support on Exaita's post. Still waiting for reply. Funny thing is I really wonder why they have no idea if they are carrying. Even some Singtel people are saying that it is unconfirmed.
