Durian,


My Butterfly 2 the screen couldn't lit up, HTC wants to charge me $450 for repair.

I immediately rejected it.


So for your case, just use Butterfly 2 till end of life.


Change brand if really necessary

Yes, it is, and upon checkout, enter code "HURRYSEP100". Haha phone good but service bad, don't drop into water and you will be fine :D

I m seriously contemplating. But durian pls stick around man. Alot of us here went thru thick and thin together while waiting. :D

Prices quoted to you is for you to maintain your 'warranty' for other purposes.

3 months warranty for those parts maybe, but I already offered to sacrifice my 1 year warranty. Even the parts that the internet sell also has 180 days warranty.

Hahah sharing a important thing to look out for can liao. Since I am already not possessing the phone, and not in the future either, my original aim of gathering info to post here is completed :) just get the 10! :D

the parts online sell has a 180 warranty.
but if you replace one part and some other part spoils htc isn't liable.

Well, there is not different to him anyway. In my opinion, since HTC charge him so much for repairing, better find some other place if the repair cost is cheaper. The HTC repair charges much more than for him to buy a new phone set.
