No FM radio. I use TuneIn Radio app. Advantage is digital is clearer than analog FM radio, downside is data consumption and if connection lost, totally no music.

Yes bro. Its auto when u choose the function. A warning will appear when u start it. Did a 64gb on my Butterfly 2 also. No problems with the apps.

If u r searching for old HTC FM app, google for HTC apks. U can download them and install. Had all the HTC apps in my 10 - Internet, Gallery, Drive etc

Phone's back cover is noticeably less shiny/polished compared to my previous set. Also, the sound is much softer from both speakers and 3.5mm jack, although quality is still good.

Huh.. how come new set can be like this one.. strange.. sth fishy going on man.. lucky they are willing to replace another new set for u..

No FM radio. Apparently the hardware capability is in there but HTC did not wire it out.
I use TuneIn radio. Kinda miss BBC Singapore.

I played with the phone till 3plus. Shagged.

I now struggling with the sd card. Format it as internal storage. But alot of apps run into bug.

What is the sd card type that you are using? It is better to use high speed UHS-I U3 card if you are format it as internal adaptive storage. I don't have the problem that you are experiencing.

What is the sd card type that you are using? It is better to use high speed UHS-I U3 card if you are format it as internal adaptive storage. I don't have the problem that you are experiencing.

I m using SanDisk Ultra UHS-1 Card 200gb

guess that's the tradeoff for convenience. I back up my data on Google & occasional backups on computer. Can convert adoptable storage to portable. Issue will arise when the card is faulty or the phone up lorry. So backups are important. Old SD card can reformat & reuse.

Shd work. I don't use FM, but other old HTC apps are ok. HTC Gallery app closes once a while, but otherwise all ok.

guess that's the tradeoff for convenience. I back up my data on Google & occasional backups on computer. Can convert adoptable storage to portable. Issue will arise when the card is faulty or the phone up lorry. So backups are important.

That could also be the possible reason why samsung and LG remove that adaptive storage options. (You can enable it however for "pro" users)

Sorry, not sure why can't be used. I did not dl FM previously. Tried but it won't install too. But I have Gallery, Drive, Internet browser, and the power widgets working well.

I sided loaded the FM Radio apk and confirm also that it doesn't work. Looks like the device driver to access the FM radio hardware is not working/available.

Let's see if HTC enables the FM Radio on the HTC 10 on Android 7.0 Nougat.
