I hope so but doubtful. Alot users don't even know pixel is manufactured by HTC. I hope this step back to the root of HTC business will allow them rediscover their forte again.

Until Google officially annouce HTC as their one and only long term partner, and label them on their package, HTC is as good as anonymous.

HTC to Google pixel is just like foxconn to apple, when did we hear apple talk about foxconn?

I think it has also got to do with HTC Vive VR sales. It's definitely doing better than the Oculus Rift.
