Is it advisable to wait for IT show in December to buy the 10? What are the chances of lower prices / offers? Thanks in advance!

Subject: To sell more 10's in Singapore, make phone with user replaceable battery in future

Hi Miss Wang,

I am Mr Foo from Singapore.

I have some feedbacks, as follow

1) The 10's has been selling very well in Singapore. Therefore, i hope HTC to bring in more 10 into Singapore

2) I also hope HTC sell the 10 cheaper in Singapore too, just like HTC did in Europe market

3) I also hope HTC will manufacture phone with user replaceable battery, after so many incidents on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery

4) Recently it has been reported again, that replaced unit of Note 7, the battery still catches fire.

I think HTC should grab this opportunity to earn more money from Samsung disaster.

The above are my feedback...

Thanks & best regards
Mr Foo

I actually dont like the idea of replaceable battery and backcover... I still like the unibody metal design very much. For the battery, as long as they do the stress and quality test well, and stick to a reputable battery maker I dont think it will happened.

Samsung may have cut corners in their quality testing to rush the note 7 out to the market.

With regards to your feedbacks foo bro, some pointers to raise:

2. How much cheaper? Europe is selling @ 499GBP USA at USD599.
With both price converted to SGD equates to SGD800-ish, which is pretty much in par.

3. I totally disagree with this. There is no exact relation to replaceable battery = safer phones. In fact, with proper QC, inbuild battery tend to outlast removeable battery in terms of lifespan and also cheaper cost for the manufacturers. The samsung case reflects mishap with the QC checks and testing.

I think they are probably aware of the explosion as much as we do. Until they sort out their budgets on marketing campaign, it is going to be a uphill task for HTC to even "leverage" on explosion.

Then you probably haven't seen what the v20 is like.

Hi guys,
Can everyone update where else to find working display set for this guy? (besides M1 waterway)
Also, how much lag is there (or none) when tapping on the recents button? Most phones with custom UI (samsung/LG, etc) seem to lag in this aspect..

Thanks!

Other known set is at M1 IMM. If you really need a display set and is at West side (buona/je/Clementi) idm lending you to have a look for a short while

May be we should start taking all our HTC phone series photo (for those who bought many series) and published here then follow by gathering with group photos.

Sent from HTC 10 using GAGT

I'm a HTC fan, love their Sense UI. I sure hope 10 would not be their last flagship, if showing them how much I love their phone can help, count me in. :s17:

Huge link for last pic.

Used to think removable battery is an advantage but after all these years and with power bank, its not a must for me anymore. as you can see from the above pics, both HD2 and Desire 601 aren't working, due to dead battery. But I wasn't going to buy the replacement battery cause those phone are too slow compare to the newer model and the battery price would cost more than the phone. lol.

There is no lag on LG.. it only happens with Samsung's touchwiz..

But they are still bloated compared to HTC 10 overlay.
