Shipped on the 5th! They gave me a $38.98 refund Not sure if USD or SGD but earn! Anyway, it's definitely between 7 days for those who preordered since the tablet official release was Monday.

Yaloh, cancelled my order after initial build quality and blb reports. Think I shall wait for the sand version. Too much $$ to risk for a seemingly widespread issue.

I was putting off my tablet replacement for a while and finally there's an android tablet I really like. I'm not hard to pleased but hopefully it's not that bad.

yeah loh, those negative reviews (putting the verge asides) put me off from buying it too.. apparently for its price and what it offers, makes the nvidia shield tablet seems like a better alternatives.. was concern abt build quality too etc... for its price it shouldn't have such quality issue.. even the boom sound speaker wasn't really the boom sound speaker u get from the htc one m8... ifixit verified that it was a cheaply made speaker compared to the one in m8..

so to me unless android L is a must, then the nexus 9 is a worthy choice of tablet... if not, there are a few solid alternatives around..

I believe most people who wanted to get an iPad won't be looking at other tablets at all, since which tablet can really compare to iPad in terms of overall quality.

But why you want to watch blue ray on a small screen and small speakers? Rather watch in clear at least 50in full HD TV and true surround Dolby speakers!

Which is better nvidia 8 or nexus 9. Read up and both got their shortcoming. Want a new tablet to replace my aging n7 g1.

Read up on both tab. Pros and cons for both. Leaning abit more to Nividia given its expandable micro SD slot and a stylus pen..

I'm hoping for an upgraded Nexus7, hopefully HTC release one early next year. I prefer a 16:10 screen aspect ratio as too much screen area is going to waste when watching movie on a 4:3 screen.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 7.9 is like better price with similar specs and a sd card slot!

HTC like cannot make it anymore .Gonna end up like nokia sooner or later .

HTC was never Nokia calibre, though they had some gpod phones but quite amazing they are still surviving.

Own phone make until so good quality, Google one make until so cui, not professional leh lol

Recieved yesterday from Amazon. I dont see much build problems. Performance is good. Screen could be better but its not bad at all. Speakers are good and loud. Overall quite pleased with it.

I'll be getting mine tomorrow. Stupid UPS, from Indiana > Puerto Rico x2 > Kentucky > Arkansas > Incheon > Shenzhen and now in SG and they dont do weekend delivery...
