We are having a very old software and it does have quite a fair bit of bugs. Sometimes I have notification badges stuck and Google Playstore taking so long to install apps.

I hope HTC releases software for our region soon. We are honestly sitting on the very first retail software whole others have already gotten the second or third revision already.

Unfortunately HTC isn't fast when it comes to updating software for Singapore sets..

I waited for Nougat to drop for the One M9 till I gave up and sold it and upgrade to the U11

Test the earbuds. Same thing. 3.5mm adapter and type c earbuds both won't stop the music when call come in and phone in vibrate mode. Haha. BUT... When using buetooth earbuds it will stop the music and play ringtone through earbuds. :s22:

Yeah exactly Brudda. I am not looking to profit but just swap.

Oh Boy ! They are really bent on killing off wired headset and 3.5mm adapter :s13:

Perhaps I should look into a simple bluetooth earbuds to tide me till they fix this...

Thanks for testing !

Oh wait. I just double confirmed the bluetooth part. About the ringtone, I thought it was the default ringtone, but it's actually a tone from the earbuds itself. even if i change it, it doesn't play the selected ringtone, just the same tone. :/ Not sure whether it'll be the same on other earbuds... haha. paiseh, i don't have any other bluetooth earbuds/speaker to verify. Maybe someone else can help?

Houmai dog! Are these features already available?

i remember during launch I saw a video that mentioned the ability to set the squeeze to tap on a specified area in any app that you set. (can't remember where) So for example like in Instagram, you can set the squeeze to trigger a tap on the camera icon area to post a picture.

The features they are showing here seems to be that? if you notice all of the actions they mentioned in the video are achieved by a double tap or a single tap in a specific location. Quite smart actually, because this way they only need to implement the feature on system level, no need wait for developers to update their app to include edge sense feature. More flexible also.

I think there's two ways to implement this. One is as per what you're saying, executing a saved action when squeezed. Somewhat like macro. I hope we can customise these macro manually as well so it wouldn't be fixed to popular apps only. The second way is to have it tailored by HTC for "popular apps" and actions. The second way will be convenient for users but wouldn't be a good idea as the phone age and receive less updates.

Personally I'd like to have squeeze to lock screen. I miss the software standby key :s22:

From what I remember, i think the video said that you can set it up yourself, like where to place that "tap" when you squeeze. So for an app like instagram for example, I can set it to post a pic, or go to my notifications.

watched a lot of videos on the phone during launch, can't remember which video. no time to go dig also. haha. Hopefully never remember wrongly.

The second way will be a bit more restrictive though, since it only works with some apps. Even though on the user end, it is easier. The first way would make the squeeze function useful in potentially any application on the phone.

I thought that the baked in Google is supposed to be Google Assistant, but it looks very much to be Google Now.. Not sure if it's region specific or what but it is able to help me set events, reminders etc so I thought it's already Google Assistant
