This article compares S8 & U11. Sounds like a very close fight. Author says UK's U11 will undercut S8. Hope HTC SG don't overprice it. I'm sure Samsung will be ready to compete once HTC pricing is out.

I won't buy so fast this time. The U ultra left a very bad after taste. It was also so poorly supported. Couldn't even get a tempered glass had to use Samsung A9 Pro.

I'm thinking maybe this company is beyond help.

Don't be so negative about not having 3.5mm jack. HTC did remove it to incorporate some technology from USB-C to improve listening experience. Give it a try before brushing it off

It does provide a 3.5mm jack adapter built in with a dac and amp. Pretty neat i would say. The usb c powers the noise cancelling earphones as well.

But it only works with their earphones. U use other earphone is become dongle game nia and can't charge at same time

Apple can remove it proudly coz they are Apple. They are the king of the smart phone industry unlike HTC. U can look for another brand instead coz I think HTC will not add back 3.5mm jack any time soon for their flagship products.

HTC should focus on their products and listen to what the customer wants. HTC should also improve on their marketing even they are running on budget else no one knows their products no matter how good the products are.
