Anyone have experience with getting the customer service centre to fix a cracked screen? Do they definitely charge for it? Is the waiting time still very long for U11?

My U11 been at service centre since 24 July. They don't stock up parts (which is like WTF you only have 1 product but no spare parts) which will result in at least 2 weeks plus wait.

My phone display died and guy kept telling me if it's a crack internally or externally not covered. Aprox $400 plus $32.10 service fee

Mine is taking so long because they changed lcd then realized motherboard failure actually so like... idk they want one by one order how many parts till it get fixed.

Good news is the service centre told me next week should be changing location so.... idk for better or for worse. Maybe it'd be faster idk

Hope to see this phone approved by IDA on end May, so that the phone can start selling on June, in Singapore

Bro you have the link to this in taobao ? I cant seem to find it :(

GW Mobile quoted me $109 for import and replacement of screen. Most places told me they can't fix this at all because they either don't have stock or don't know how to install (??). I can see why people stick to Samsung!

The HTC service centre has probably moved by now to their new place, so hopefully less messiness from them.

There is a huge company called Huawei. You don't need Lagsung.

Is there a good tempered glass screen protector for HTC U11 with no halo?

Most shops in Singapore dont carry HTC. Oddly enough, I got mine in Serangoon road in one of the roadside guys that sell SIM cards, screen saver etc. Only $5, he apply for me, plus no issues. That was few months back. Not sure if still they sell, but there are numerous shops there cater to workers, you can try. Cheap.
