G5 not that bad lah. All say until like that. Design is very subjective one. Anyone know where else have u11 to molest other than bugis sinktel? Hand itchy today

It's not the design, its the display ghosting and software.

Faster sell away that pos LG and buy U11 when its out!

Think I will drop by on Tuesday to go molest the phone too. Hoping that they have the entire colour range to see as well

Yea, HTC software is always fast and fluid with minimal bloat. Really hope they can make a come back with this but sadly I think most people will still be attracted by "bigger display"

Hmm. I tested a few segments that were more important to me and I felt were short comings from the u ultra which I had for a short while
1) size wise it's still quite large in the hand esp if u have used the G6 or s8 though nowhere as unweildy as the u ultra. Comparing with the ultra play next to it, I felt the play had the ideal size for me ( currently I m using smaller phones )

2) colour of the demo unit is the silver unit. Initially I wanted to get the silver but looking at the real life unit, it's too glossy for my like . Mayb I will go black instead

3) camera. This was one of my main bug bears with the u ultra. U Ultra has pretty substandard point and shoot camera performance and it's panorama was pretty bad at stitching ( I use panorama alot hahaha). The u11 have improved this immensly. Point and shoot seems very good and fast focus. Panorama is also improved. Less impressed with the selfie Cam though it could be a result of the lighting thsre

Was in taiwan last week.
Manage to play with the U11.
Very nice phone, they have black, silver & blue for demo.
The side squeeze quite responsive, and i believe as some ppl here say it will be a very helpful feature.

Exactly! I did look at the Amazing Silver and it looks kinda plain at most angles. The Blue however is very striking and having owned almost most of my phones in black, this would be a great color. Also, the Amazing Silver looks too glossy and chromy. The black or blue seems less in this regard.

Every year HTC phones have some innovative feature(or some say gimmick) but always cannot sell one. Look at ultra pixel, dual cam(zoe before live photos were a thing), dual front facing speakers and usqueeze now. The phones are solidly made yet people want to remember the problematic era of the 4 months 1 flagship phone says.
