You always say say only...

At the beginning always sing praises, then towards the end bash the phone, and then end up not getting the phone.. hahaha always see the same pattern.

True enough for S8 and G6. At the end, after paying with both of them, I dropped the idea.

U11 should be the one. :). No curved screen likes the S8 and no OSB likes the G6 and no funny 18:9 screen ratio.... :)

You mean the screen is totally flat like G6? No 2.5D curve edge? I haven't tried the demo yet..

I mean not the edges-side-curved likes the S8, S7 and Mi Note 2..:s22:

All screens now have at least that 2.5D curve..

4K vid shot with a smartphone is common, but most importantly is that there is no time limit unlike same song.

I see! :)

Actually, FHD or occasionally 2K video recording are good enough already for me. :s22:

I wonder if the LCD will have the same problem as my G5? Where ghosting appears after leaving the screen on for a while.

Another problem that I worry is that the phone dies at ~10% rather than at 1/0%

You would prefer shooting in 4K once you're used to it. I don't see any reason to not shoot in 4K, especially for family moments. Then edit it to 4K 60fps FTW. Storage is really not an issue.

According to some testers, there was an update to the phone 2 days ago which addressed the front camera photo quality.

For the 11, it's not just the video recording quality. The audio will be very much better too with 3d sound recording.

Though this was taken using the ultra (which also has 3d sound recording capability) the 11 seems to be even better with the more powerful snapdragon.

Use earphones to hear the difference

Exact same performance recorded on S7E

This 4k video recording on ultra is mind blowing.

I have just tested the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter on the ultra. Using the same earphones, it sounded better than the 10. The adapter has a high quality built-in DAC, so I don't think anyone should worry to much on the sound output on the new HTC phones. BTW the bundled earphones are good too, with additional features.

Nice. :)

Sound quality is important to me too.

I'm so so excited about U11.... :)

Cannot let people say I say say only again for the rest of the year in 2017..... :)
