S8 and S8 Plus retailed at $1,148 and $1,298 respectively, while G6 was at $988
Do remember that u11 has more RAM/storage at 6GB/128GB. Other flagships will probably charge $100 more for the additional storage option.
Can always wait for price to drop or re-contract mobile plan.
Or you can buy HTC 10.
Price at Lazada is about $600

Nowadays the trend is super narrow bezel like S8 or g6. I didn't know the battery capacity is the same as S8 lol. Anyway still considering getting the phone or not coz missing 3.5mm jack is really a killer.

anyway, kinda glad my 10 is still working as good as I first got it. Tempted by the U11, but not a fan of the gloss/glass back. I still prefer an solid metal phone! Maybe the 12(?) when my 10 eventually dies

HTC U11 is the best phone which they have made so far although it's not perfect. Very glad that HTC is still innovative even though they are not making money. Now they need a good marketing plan to let the world knows they have just made a great phone in order to gain their market back slowly.

Very nice and detailed review but you did not speak about the battery at all. I think most of us wanted to roughly know how it performs based on your limited time with it. Also, what is the best color according to you based on your upclose and personal touch with the phones.

I didn't comment on the battery because my time with it was too short to make a judgment call. But back when I reviewed the U Ultra, I was easily getting 5.5-6hrs of SOT, so I am expecting the U11 to beat that since it has the more efficient snapdragon 835. I'll be going more in-depth during my actual review!
Personally I am more of a blue person, and for that reason alone the amazing silver variant is the most attractive one because I like the light shades of blue. But I'll admit that the solar red is pretty damn attractive and tempting too!

I like the amazing silver cos of the blue shades, but solar red is much more striking!
Did iPhoneArena said iPhone 7 design is stale? Their conclusion is ridiculous.. I don't give a crap about Sissy S8 and ** G6 design..
