I tried the phone at pc show SingTel booth. It's smaller than u ultra which is way too huge. The squeeze is not difficult to activate and not easy to accidentally activate as well. It's very fast and smooth as expected from HTC sense, the camera focus very quickly.

Yeah, you can set the squeeze function to only activate when screen is active to prevent accidental activation when in pocket

Admire the never-say-die attitude. Great products will not fail. There's always a new generation to target. All depends on how HTC plays the game now that they got the goods. For faithfuls like me, I'm just glad that they continue to prove people wrong

A stunning phone, but HTC thinks they are Apple or Samsung, which means they will fail without the aggressive marketing they need.

Haha, u feel me bro. We have same issues. I was thinking it will depend on the selling price and how well the phone value holds. Traditionally does sony hold value well? I know htc value is laosai one in which case, it might make more sense to go xzp first?

On paper, yes. It's better to go for the U11.

wahahahahaah. think not so valid for me since I tend to trade in for newer models quite frequently
But following your comment on reliability, I would think Sony prob has better quality and support compared to HTC now. prob another reason for lower resale values in addition to lesser demand?

Hmm I haven't been trying newer Sony products for a long time but HTC for me at least does fine in the quality department.

On the support side, HTC is moving their current temporary location at paya lebar to Clarke quay!

Lower resale value I think tbh is just because people get pretty turned off buying HTC products. Just the brand image

Think it's about the same bro. Sony resale prices do not hold well either. But camera very important to me, so I will get U11. If the camera like #%#% then likely I will sell off after a few weeks. So I think I will lose more getting the XZP. It's like marrying a dumb blond...beauty very good but IQ (image quality) jia lat
