HTC U Ultra battery very weak too, to support the power juice smartphone.

Therefore, this will happen to the same as U11.

No surprise they providing the battery/power bank

The phone is not even launch yet and you know how the battery perform? Incredible! :s8:

Yeah, Doubt he owned the u ultra either. U ultra has a larger screen plus secondary screen. It also uses 821 and doesn't run 7.1.1. All these will impact it's battery life. These trolls want to stir sh*t also don't put any effort at all.....

Yeah I am aware. My past 4 phones are HTC... but this latest S8 finally appeals to me.. also the UI is much less bloated compared to previous touchwiz.

Pity the U11 does not come in a smaller 5-5.2" screen size.

IKR! S8 looks gorgeous but HTC's UI and day-to-day use is simply a joy that only users can appreciate, and not from display handsets. Doesn't matter if Touchwiz is lightly bloated now, Sense UI still beats it hands down. I wanna upgrade from my M9, already prepared to accept the "boring" front design (neither am i a big fan of the glossy back), but the big dimensions (small hands) and the lack of the 3.5mm jack (i charge my phone and listen to music at work desk) are my biggest barrier right now. If it exists in a 5-5.2", i would have pre-order it right away.

Seems even better than the S8+ (Snapdragon version).
I mean the Exynos might be a little better but for a 3,000mah battery, that is quite good. Can't wait for mine to see how the battery life is. Jumping from an S7 Edge 128GB.

Take phonearena's battery tests with a pinch of salt.

See the comment made by another former:
That's good news but I dun trust phonearena. Last time they reported Nexus 9 has good and better battery life than iPad which I have absolutely no idea how they managed to do that after owning both the device.

I like that HTC's software is so stock Android-like now! No unnecessary bells and whistles... One thing I don't understand though is why even HTC is trying to come up with its own digital assistant... That is really one unnecessary "feature" that no one ever asks for.

From a Samsung fan

I don’t tend to keep it a secret that I am a fan of Samsung phones...

I love my Galaxy S8+ and often times I will hold it just to admire the craftsmanship, because it is a beautiful piece of hardware. However, the moment I ignite that display I am reminded of just how much I give up for that experience and at some point it just isn’t going to be worth it anymore.

They want HTC to close down so their favourite brand will have less competition.. :s13:

Was wondering if the price will go up after Singtel's exclusive. Lazada is selling way more expensive.

RRP for the U11 locally is S$998, those that you're seeing on Lazada right now are export sets for people who can't wait and wanna get before the official release in Singapore.
