2Q55300 = 128GB flash memory ( Hard disk )

2Q55100 = 64GB flash memory ( hard disk )



Hope Singapore version gets 2Q55300 variant

Personally, I think it might not affect me that much, cos I don't reply use the wired headphones nowadays.

But I'm not sure about the idea that they remove the 3.5mm jack, but didn't give people an option to use other earphones. They should at least give the converter, but I heard the one that came with the U11+ wasn't very good.

I think it looks really nice.

My HTC 10 battery is seriously dying and I am looking to re-contract. I wonder when will it reach Singapore and will the local Telco be carrying them?

Not soon, I guess.

M1 did carry U11 and U11+, which is good.
And last time when I was changing to HTC10, it also came out the same time as the Lazada one.

So, for me, at least now it has been okay. I do recall there were a few models where it was exclusive on the Lazada site, which is stupid.

They came in real late.

Bluetooth headphones is still an option

Pixel 2 also no audio jack. Google sells audio converter that works with htc.

The converter bundled with htc u11 has built in audio DAC (digital analog converter) hence the US$10+ price. When you use it, htc warns about extra battery drain to power the device.


What I did was to purchase those $2+ USB type C to audio adapter (aka without DAC), and use free "Audio Router" app to redirect audio out though wired headphones.

+1 for 128GB as I am using dual SIM on u11, so no space for micro SD card.

Believe u12+ is dual 4G.
U11 was 4G for primary and 3G for secondary SIM.

SRP in TW is NT$24,900/128GB and China is Y5,888, or about SGD$1.1K~$1.2K. I really don't see myself paying that much for a phone.

Unless its sold and subsidies by telco, it will be bye bye from me after 9 years with HTC.

The top selling brands can priced their phone high because, well, there are top selling brands. What does HTC sale department thinking when their marker share is ever shrinking? Samsung spend billions in advertising every year; Huwei and BBK companies' banner, ads and shops are every where. What did HTC do to increase their brand awareness to attract potential buyer?

Yet they are asking the same price level of these brands without offering more features. HTC used to offer unique features in M series, Metal unibody, stereo speakers, powerful headphone amp. IR emitter, etc. HTC after M10 is just a follower of other makes, narrow screen bezel? late; IP rating? late; Camera PQ? late; The only reason I even consider U12+ is the Sense UI, but NOT with $1.1K price tag.

What’s interesting is that while Google is now in charge of a large portion of HTC’s smartphone engineers (and presumably its smartphone production too) to create the new Pixel 3, there still seems to be a lot of cross collaboration between the brands, calling into question whether there’s really a divide between Google and HTC after the sale.

why worry no have U12 ? Don't have jiu don't have....Anyway, can obviously tell HTC cutting cost, so will launch only 1 flagship phone this year.
