Ah I see. I don't do much gaming either thankfully.

Was toying the idea of getting XZ2 since HTC is not coming out a HTC10 sized flagship. My wife's HTC11 is a tad too big, so I guess 12+ will be so too. Haiz, why must HTC force my hand lol.

Bought the phone from HTC Taiwan. Not sure if it is really true but they say phones bought from HTC Taiwan has 1 year international warranty and 2 years Taiwan warranty. May need to check with HTC Singapore on this provided they are not dead yet.

Nice!!! How's the sexperience so far

Phone has practically the same width as the HTC 10, just taller. Display is obviously not as bright as Samsung displays but manageable. Minimum display brightness is really good.

I have no problem with my power button, volume DOWN button and edge sense so far, but volume UP button is a little harder to press. Exceeded expectations as I thought they will be really **** like what the reviews say. Convincing enough like the iPhone's taptic engine.

Will update as I use it more!

The service centre in Singapore told me that as long as they have the parts, they will honor the 1 year warranty. But they cannot guarantee that they would have the parts, coz different region uses different parts. I spoke to 2 different HTC staff at the service centre and they told me the same thing.
I have a U11+ from Taiwan... going to Taiwan in another 2 days, so seriously contemplating if I should get the U12+

sideline a bit, for those who had bought both Taiwan and sg sets before, do you feel that the quality control for Taiwan sets are not as good?
My U11 bought from M1 was perfect, no yellow tint on screen, no gap issue. But the U11+ bought from Taiwan have the slight yellowish tint on the bottom part of the screen. QC issue or just luck?

hubby didnt know what to check, and there was only 1 set at DFS, so just grab and go. The yellow tint issue is minor, I have to open a white page, turn the phone upside down before I notice the difference in color.

Just that I noticed a lot of pple complaining in the Taiwan forums but not so much in other forums, so wondering if the QC for Taiwan is not as good.

Go to a store there to try out uh! You probably can't tell a difference from your U11+ though. Same on my side. Doesn't really bother me haha.

Might be a batch issue as they do buy screens from different suppliers. Maybe it was launched in Taiwan first, that batch happened to have this issue. But can't be as bad as M7 purple tint. How that passed QC, I really don't know haha
