htpc recommendation

need some help for htpc build. budget around 500-700+

able to watch, stream, download files will do. don't need gaming.

i just upgrade my htpc last month cpu+mb+ram(from tpac) only, reuse the rest of old pc parts.

Intel Pentium G4560 + ASRock H110M-HDV R3.0 - 170
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8GB 2400MHz - 118

G4560 able to run smooth on all 3 4K files i tested.

Intel Pentium G4560 is a good starting point. It will do well for HTPC duties.

When building HTPC, please look into case build quality for noise insulation. It is annoying if you are watching something and the CPU Fan starts winding up...

Preferably, i'll go for a NUC that has passive cooling or PCs with solid build quality to minimise noise.

Prefer Infinity coz of service. Been there buying from him for over a decade.

Any shop in SLS ought to be able to serve you but only some shops will take back a spoilt item within 30 days and take the trouble to deal with the distro for RMA. Most of these shops command a slightly higher price.

You'll need about an i5-6500 to do that at least. Probably a Ryzen 5 as well.

i have no issue playing 4K utube on my G4560, if u having lag try download first then play it locally.
