Is the SIM card in good working condition and test it on the phone to check, including to surf internet for connectivity.

Most likely it is due to SIM card or not insert properly to the slot, as unable to detect refer to the network indicator is red.

If not you may have to test with another working SIM card.
If the SIM card is used, then use a eraser to polish the gold contact & clear the bits before inserting in.

Look for the sticker on SSID passwords pin stated on the router.
The SIM card is in good condition. Can be use with a dongle. Had tried with different SIM card.

Possible router is defective on the SIM slot.

Maybe try the WAN port, connect to broadband to ensure router is working or not.

- What on your dashboard of the huawei modem?
- Had you login and configure to Singtel profile and APN in this screen?
