Huawei E5573 default ssid/password changed by itself

Hi. I have Huawei E5573 mifi router. Some time back I bought a data only sim card to be used in Australia. I forgot the WiFi password already so I did a hard reset while the sim card is in it. After that I noticed the old ssid Airtel-E5573-EE5D has been changed to Optus-4G-E5573-F58E and it doesn't accept the WiFi password printed on the device. So now I can't use that mifi router. Any suggestion? I have sent an email to huawei support but I'm not sure they will reply me. Thanks in advance.

just a wild guess. Could the Optus SSID be related to the aussie sim card within?

what if you reset it without a sim card? or with a sg sim card?

It's weird how the sim card could change the SSID. Yah I tried that without a sim card and with SG sim card but the SSID remained the optus one.

I don't think it has WPS or its not enabled by default unfortunately
