found a good review in Mandarin:

华为荣耀四核 测评 By 王自如 Huawei U9508 Honor 2 Review - YouTube

unfortunately it's a China website, so the guy mostly compared it with XiaoMi 2, as well as the 2 different versions of Honor 2 available in China - the white one with the Emotion UI (should be the one we're getting) and a Black one that's exclusive to Unicom iirc

looks quite impressive... just that I found his nitpicking with the extra black border on the screen a little unnecessary, seeing how my current white S3 also has that black border, but what gives. for $350 this is really nice...

Why not? The huge difference in pricing is probably due to HUAWEI produces it's own CPU whereas the others do not. In terms of price and performance it is definitely a steal. I recently purchase a U9508 1GB version and successfully upgraded it to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with emotion UI. Its very cool!

The U9508 - is this the dual SIM version? Where did you buy from and how much did you pay? I'm thinking of buying as a present.
