Expansys seems to have restocked now.
http://www.expansys.com.sg/huawei-mediapad-m5-84-sht-al09-lte-64gb-champagne-gold-310496/

Global rom, as seen from https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1677250055687403.1073741889.363796700366085

SG$549.99(Excl. GST)
Delivery fees from SG$18.00

Wondering if official local set will be cheaper than this?
Expansys.com cheaper than its own qoo10 lol...wait for sg Huawei to sell is like waiting for blue moon lol

I saw quite alot of review "flooding" in youtube on MediaPad m5, most of them have very good impression on it.

Sigh, when it will come to Singapore so that I can get it to replace my old tablet.

i presume u already knew the good sides of it from the videos.

not sure if u know:
1. it has no NFC
2. BT v4 instead of v5
3. 1 yr+ old chipset
4. no 3.5mm jack
5. firmware issue with Widewine Level, unable to play Netflix, youtube at HD (hopefully the new lot shipped with firmware updated to resolve this issue)
6. bloatware with quite a bit of ad games installed, not sure how many of these bloat apps can be removed.
7. some lagging also reported.

if none of the above is your concern, stay tune for the launch.
btw, while waiting for M5 to be launched, heard M5 WaterPlay is launching soon.
so probably when CN gets M5 WaterPlay, huawei would then bring the remaining stock of M5 from CN to SG and launch here?

another sigh...

Point 5 I read that it has been resolved with the latest firmware update

The reason I gave up waiting launch in Singapore and think to import is they don't make announcement on Huawei Singapore web site, though the other coutries have done already.
Malaysia announced M5 8.6 inch.
https://consumer.huawei.com/my/?type=tablets
Singapore and Thailand have no announcement on web site.
https://consumer.huawei.com/sg/?type=tablets
https://consumer.huawei.com/th/?type=tablets

I suspect it's less likely for M5 to be sold here, though not sure of course.

MY and SG, will likely roll out together, if it does roll out.
SG website is not updated, and u can't even find M3 or T3 there.
MY has dedicated huawei online shop (in APAC, huawei only launched dedicated online shop in MY, HK and India), which is why they bother to update their website.
