I was using Circles on my Mate 10, but when I popped in my Malaysia SIM card to check its validity then the EMUI 12 update came in.

I guess the Malaysia SIM card made the EMUI 12 update available. Can try inserting non Singapore SIM card into your Mate 10.

I don't see the update either. Popped in my Thai sim card and still no luck.

Strange. Till today my Mate 10 Pro still did not have any updates.

The battery on my Huawei Mate 10 seems to be not able to hold charge after the updates.

I replaced the battery last year. Not sure if I should replace the battery again. This phone is entering the 5th year of usage.

Should I change the battery or get a new phone? This is my secondary phone. My primary (work) phone is the Redmi 9T. Am thinking of getting a 'better' new phone and switching the Redmi 9T to use as the secondary phone.

It seems like too much work and hassle for a 4 years old phone! Very tempted to get a new phone instead!

mate 10 is 5 year old!

if you have a thumbdrive or pc, backup, reset and restore without apps data.

see whether you will find any differences.

My mate 10 power button and volume- button also sinked in but I just told myself it's time to upgrade.
