Anyone been using this phone for few months? Is it worth getting?

What are the true pros and cons for a daily user?

I am thinking Of changing phone. Should I wait for Samsung s10+ or this? Or stick to iPhone XS Max? Budget not an issue here

If u had been a iPhone user for a long period... Don't change to android...the experience might be over bearing at times.

As. Object and lightning, I felt the photo taking is slighter darker on the Mate 20pro (compare to iPhone xs max, note 9)

Why overbearing ? Android too complicated ? Or too good?

I really like the ultra wide angle camera which Huawei and s10 will offer. Currently iPhone still need to wait till end of this year to have this function. But by end of this year I would have finished 2 overseas holiday trip. So right now quite desperate for the camera function haha

The UI depends how u can adjust. I guess it will not be using the drawer... Thus looks like IOS (FOLDERS MGMT). the rest will be swing down and up (settings etc) some apps support are slightly differ.

On the wide angle, yes.. It is good to have esp for those landscape. Today, LG phones and Mate 20pro has it.

In a month or 2, we will see S10 and P30pro... Which will gives more camera function.

I guess $not a concern.. Just buy mate 20pro. If anything better, sell off and get a new device

I'm actually considering between this and note 9 for my wife. Both around same price point. I have been using Huawei phones all these time and now using the p20 pro.

The issue my wife has is that sometimes the objects in the photos is darker than those taken on her s8. And she don't quite like it. Does anyone notice this?

Anyway in general, which one would you guys recommend? Thanks!

For frequent video shoot, note 9 wins hands down. For battery life, maybe m20p

best bring ur wife to try out the phone at telco.

camera wise for mate 20 pro is good enough for me tho....

the front fingerprint scanner and the screen size should be inside your consideration too.

1- budget
2- needs ~ compatible to your app, accessories etc
3- camera ~ selfie etc
4- specs vs price
5- brands ~ interface etc
6- battery life ~ 1 full charge can lasts how many hours...
7- warranty ~ convenience to claim?
8- 3.5mm jack?
9- retaining value/release date ~ for frequent phone changer.

Both have good camera so it isn't an upgrade over the other.
They are both very similar. One thing to note is mate 20 pro uses nano sd card instead of the usual micro sd card
As for battery life mate 20 pro lasts longer than note 9
But note 9 battery life is no slouch either. It lasts a full day for me...
Note 9 has the Bluetooth enabled s pen. She can take pictures while using it as a remote
Both uses amoled display so not much difference here.
Huawei ui is user friendly so not much to worry about
about the cpu
Mate 20p Kirin980 is a very powerful 7nm chip
Note 9 uses the 10nm exynos9810 which is inferior to k980
But exynos9810 is good enough for normal day to day use
Lastly Huawei phones comes with 2yr warranty instead of the usual 1 yr so it might be worth it
Also samsung release updates very very slow
Huawei is on the ball

P30 > m20p if you don't need wireless charging.

about same price

I was comparing P30 (non pro) with Mate 20 pro. In the end went for Mate 20 proc because it has wireless charging, full water resistance (can be submerged) and larger battery. Up to individual preference I guess.
