actually,i wanted to get honor play one
But the notch is a turn off. I rather had bezel then notch.

As mention in the article, the image are just rendering only not the real one, if Huawei really come out with notch, I hope Huawei will adopt the same setting as P20 that you can turn of the notch screen, but no front fingerprint scanner that will definitely turn me away from Huawei

why u guys so bothered by the notch? is it because you all always watch video (landscape) and the notch appears to block out some of the view?

since I joined the Huawei family last year (starting from Mate 10 Pro), I like how the phones are designed and packed with features. Within one year I have jumped from Mate 10 Pro to P20 Pro. Only thing that still bothered me is the aggressive killing of apps in the background which my Garmin fitness tracker gets victimized (even setting the app management to manual did not help).*edit: actually the problem is resolved - just don't mass thrash all the apps at once; can close the app alone from the background and it'll auto-connect eventually.

this Mate 20 is exciting as it comes with a new chip. but am worried that the phone will just get heavier again.

will only consider upgrading if it can keep to 180g or less. fingerprint scanner below the screen - only if it is as fast as its current tech.

Nand flash will be dirt cheap soon.
