Huawei just aggressively putting out different variants to fight against higher end rivals:
Mate 20X against Note 9 (pen)
Mate 20 Pro against iPhone XS / Max
Mate 20 RS against higher end 512gb iPhone XS

By increasing the price upwards in 2019, they’re creating more space for their sub-brand Honor and Lite/Nova series

from the price for Mate 20X RM$3199, and got everything we need, if come spore will sure affect Mate 20Pro sale.

My concern for Mate20X is no reverse wireless charging, no emerald green, low ppi, low supercharge. Plus point - shares same camera spec with pro, 5000mAh battery, 7.25" screen, can use stylus, dew drop design.

When you think about it, you won't need reverse wireless charging, you just want it. Psycho urself with all the plus points and if X really comes to Singapore, you win liao. If not, you get the Pro after waiting may be cheaper. Win again.

You wont notice the ppi and the supercharge up to 22.5W is already faster than QC 3.0. Those minus point are not really inferior to other phones.

I saw the post too. Went to the huawei FB page to check the original comment, but seems like the reply has been changed. They now say they only have news of huawei mate 20 and 20 pro. Was really looking forward to mate 20x, hope it'll come to Singapore :/

1. Do you have a second phone which support wireless charging. If yes, your concern noted.
2. Does color so important over specs wise?
3. Unless you've pair of robotic eyes, the difference between fhd and qhd to human eyes are not obvious. Unless you're comparing 720p to qhd.

Confirmed with the huawei cs Today.
Mate 20 only two colours, black and emerald green.
Mate 20 pro got 3 colours, add twilight.

Sigh.... I am aiming for twilight mate 20. Looks like must choose between black or green.
