Just picked up my Gold Mate 9 from Red White Mobile...

For $798, it comes with screen protector and a back plate casing.. No freebies , not that I neeed them anyway. ��

GREy, yes they have... if you want a fair comparison between Huawei @lazada which they give a free flip case vs my set, it is up to you as I do not find flip case useful since I mount my phone onto my car phone holder..

But if you compare to best denki freebie which includes 10k mAh battery pack plus Bluetooth headset and dunno what other freebies, it maybe worth your while

YEp it is standard except This time round, they give a back plate casing instead of flip case... my previous Mate 7 and 8 comes with standard flip case

Bt headset also cheap unless they give atas model
Sdcard also cheap
But all the free gift add up should be more than 100

Lolxxx. The Mate 9 firmware takes a huge chunk 11.34GB, leaving user with only 48gb to play around with.

Lolxxx I already have 3 Xiaomi powerbanks, plenty of 64/128gb sd card... I have no use for a BT headset... very mafan to sell away these freebies

Got my Mate 8 from them on Apr 2016... Local set with Huawei warranty

Kinda sian...mate 8 was late for SG....like u got mine mar/apr
And its only 6 months...n looks old liao with Mate 9 arrival

I am interested in the recently announced Mate 9 Pro.



I do have some suggestion though, hope it can be considered



1) Sell both the Mate 9 Porsche Design & Mate 9 Pro in Singapore, as there are many people interested in it


2) Provide app drawer for older phones (through software updates)


3) Customised the android operating system, similar to what HTC has done


4) Improve the camera sensor to larger size, like 1/2.3", at least 1.55um, good imaging software


5) Reveal the NAND use in the phones (UFS, emmc or whatever)


6) Improve battery performance & reliability. Possible to increase the capacity too


7) When announcing a new phone through official video, reveal as much of the phone capabilities as possible


8) Improve it's innovation

Hoping to see Huawei smartphone division expand it's business, with very good phone produced

Mate 8 arrived to SG rather late...while mate 9 ontime.
My mate 8 which is bought during mar/apr is "old" though only 6mths...vwry sian

Lolxxx. My mate 8 was also bought in April... as I am using dual Sim on Mate 8, I need to change the phone to Mate 9..

I am planning to,offload my Mate 8 in due time which by the way, it is still a great phone except the camera isn't that impressive but battery is superb
