Hi guys. Newly joined in this grp.

Something bother me. Seeking for solution here.

Whenever my fine restart/on, I am prompt to enter the password before the fone actually start running. E.g.; start receiving messages etc. Is it normal? Or is there any ways to bypass/disable it?

After the fone start running, there is another prompt to cancel or enable the certain function from the fone. Is there any solution?

Prompting for password after restart/switchin ON the phone is a security feature in Android. Hapenned ob my previous Note 5 too.

guys, anyone encounter this issue ?

I was using the default FILE app to manage my files.

As my DCIM folder was getting clustered up, i made several folders to better seperate them. However whenever i click a photo , instead of it showing up , it will go to the last taken photo and i have to scroll all the way to the photo i want.

Hi Water Bottle,

Its normal for the phone to ask for the security password after the restart, i think in general is to prevent theft cases so they require u to key in the pin again to reidentify u as the owner.

You can check out this web on your backup options

http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/recycling/data-backup/index.htm

If you choose the local backup option, there is a folder which kept all the backup files, you can then copy the whole folder to your sdcard or computer to be restored later.
I knows this is not exactly for Mac but another way is to install Windows on your Mac and backup from there.

btw is anyone using the huawei mate9 original flip case any review on it?

I am using the original flip case and it is good. Before that I had the original protector film and the cover scratches the film but after u change to glass protector, I don't see any scratches.

Anyone successfully use Mate9 with M1 for VoLTE?
Without VoLTE, cannot concurrent data + voice call.
This is regardless of the Carrier Aggregation turned on or otherwise.

CMI...

My link is official Huawei CN online store.
Still looking for just the Supercharge Cable alone…
Don't think any other "5A-capable" cables work like their proprietary cable.

you can purchase the huawei china supercharger from taobao/lazada. You can also choose to purchase just the charging head, or 5A cable.

have already posted it a few times. been using it and it works exactly like the singapore one, and you just need to use it with a travel adapter due to china's 2-pin point.

Hey guys. Sad news, I lost my charger and the cable totally. Where should I get the replacement from?

Edit: Found out they sell it at 313, but at around $50 :(

any cheaper alternatives? Can't find on Lazada, taobao need adapter.
