For me, I would prefer mate 9
(using for both phone now)

G6 over Mate 9
water resistance = G6
Screen resolution G6


Mate 9 over G6
Gaming perf = Mate 9 (G6 though SD820...games tend to "exit")
resale value = mate 9 (G6 street price is less than 700..and its only 2months+ old)
batt = mate 9 (4000mah with 1080p)

Subjective
camera = G6 wide angle is nice...but i prefer mate 9 (subjective as i'm not a good user)
18:9 vs 16:9

My thoughts on Mate 9 vs G6, Mate 9 still the best. I changed because of the waterproof in G6.

Anyone find that taking photo with people inside is always blur eventhough the background is always sharp? Tried tapping on the person using dot focus still the same.
