hi guys just to ask.im interested in mate 9.

previously i recall huawei p9 have some wifi connectivity issue. does mate 9 having any issue connecting and using with singtel's router?

This is a subjective matter... maybe just one user may face connectivity issue doesn't represent that all Mate 9 will have same issue.... rite?

You won't go wrong with Huawei and their service centre is really top niche. So far using the mate 9 and I have sold my iPhone 7+ and p9 plus.

I dropped my phone with the smart cover and the LCD didnt survive

Now waiting for replacement from Huawei.

@game goondu, at Home screen, click on a icon name "File", inside the page click Local" and u will find the "SD Carrd" directory.

@_Xiphos_, if u are looking for that particular pic, at Home screen, click on"Gallery", click on "Albums" tag last click on "Magazine unlock".

i'm not referring to inside the phone...
my main purpose is to copy the photos and videos out to my pc for backup...

last time i use ftp server and i use ftpzilla at my pc to transfer the photos and videos out...

this time round, there is no so call sd directory...

do u transfer your photos and video out?

I don't have connectivity issue but i find its wifi quite weak and slow as compared to other phones.

How to check? If based on number then sure not accurate. Must based on usage.
My sexprience no buffering youtube and everything smooth connected to m1 fibre broadband

i do not want to use usb connection, ie. i do not want to connect the cable...

other phone i can transfer data wireless by running ftp server on the handphone... which is much more convenient..

i'm just shocked that mate 9 cannot...

Regarding the Wi-Fi of the mate 9, it is using a single stream 1T1R, capable of 72mbps on N and 433mbps on AC, mu-mimo support status is unknown.

Compared to phones with dual stream 2T2R I.e. iPhone 7/+, definitely will show differences when testing using apps like speed test. Many other factors to consider such as time of test, server and external interferences.

If your YouTube Facebook Instagram is loading severely slow then it's probably time to get it checked, otherwise speedtest results mean nothing much.
