App drawer is confirmed, I tried myself.

Severe lagging issue which is present on in all phones, specifically addressed by CEO Richard Yu. There is a machine learning algorithm in the Mate 9 which will optimize the phone in many many ways to make sure that the mate 9 born fast, stay fast.

For me amoled vs lcd is oversimplified rivalry. I trust engineers will do correct decision.

Important to me (older person) is readability. Amoled won't give significantly longer battery life for crazy big battery life phone like mate 9.

It is probably amoled. As mentioned, official part number description alludes to amoled, I will confirm this when received stock.

For full HD, and not qhd, I am very very happy about that. For something I don't really see the appreciable difference between qhd and fhd, I am not willing to burn battery and increase heat. For purposes of VR I am convinced that real gamers will get their real gaming phone later in 2017.

I reserved my comments until I see the phone screen. If the screen is not up to par, even it is amoled it is no use.

What bugs me about huawei is that if you purchase in china, you get remarkably higher spec than what you paid for in Singapore.

May explain why resale value is poor

It's important to know that both amoled and lcd is same price now, and it's an engineer's choice.

Telco sell when I don't know. But Singapore stores will be selling on 19th.
