OK, the Mate X will come with Kirin 990 ie 5G with 4K@60fps to be released this coming November

But so far some disappointments in HW phones include

1) No WiFi 6 support
2) Its EMUI does not support the default android OS Kill Switch. You need a VPN with a dedicated Kill Switch like VyprVPN
3) When using the SONY app with its WH-1000XM3 headphone the codec defaulted to SBC. No way to change back to LDAC codec in the phone because the LDAC is greyed out.
4) No video call dialler
5) It does not support resizeable and floating app when in split-screen mode
6) The Mate X is not designed to be always hold in the hand because of it's outward folding design. It needs to be kept in the protective pouch provided to prevent scratches, dents, accidental knocks etc. Which means the user will have difficulty in receiving the notifications and alerts. You can, however, overcome this by using a smartwatch to have notifications and alerts send to it.

There are 2 versions of the Kirin 990 processors - 4G & 5G. HW knows that not many countries still have 5G so 4G version will be available to them like in Singapore now

outside fold somehow feels better than inside fold.

Samsung inside fold need another screen on the outside when folded

huawei when folded, still has 2 screen on both side for normal use.

I think not. Likely to be same as Mate 30 Pro unless things change for the better
